Client Spotlight

Ultimark Products, LLC focuses on acquiring a
broad portfolio of consumer brands and leveraging each company’s
widely-recognized brand through superior marketing and promotion.
The company works to re-introduce trusted brands that have seen a
decline in revenue and market share. By identifying new products or
discovering retail extension opportunities for early-stage products,
Ultimark can extend a brand’s reach and earning potential.
Ultimark’s channels of distribution have increased
from DRTV and electronic retail to include retail, catalog, and
e-commerce. Each Ultimark brand receives the proper, individual
marketing strategy and support to enhance its unique market
position.
Ultimark Products, LLC was created in 2009, and was
formerly known as Creative Concepts Holdings Inc. (CCH), which was
incorporated in 2000. The company had been in the business of
selling a variety of promotional products principally through DRTV
and mass media electronic retailers such as QVC. Ultimark Products
pioneered a diverse assortment of strong brands including Instant
Flower GardenTM, :08 Minute AbsTM and Grandmother’s Kitchen WisdomTM.
Ultimark partners with IT Solutions to support its
growing technology and business needs through the
SharedVision Guardian plan.

National Preparedness Month: Don’t Wait for the Next Disaster to
Develop Your Plan
If
August’s earthquake and a hurricane in the same week weren’t enough
to make you think twice about your business’s ability to withstand a
disaster, then nothing could. But, if you’re like most conscientious
business owners and decision makers we at IT Solutions speak to all
the time about their companies’ data security, the events of last
month had to make you wonder if you’re doing everything you can to
keep your business running smoothly in the event of major building
damage or a long-term power outage. In a region where we do not
typically see natural distasters such as this, were you confident
that your business was prepared to withstand such uncontrollable
events?
The percentage of
small- to medium-sized businesses that never recover after a
disaster is staggeringly high. Did you know?
- 90 percent of
companies unable to resume operations within 5 days after a
disaster are out of business within one year
- 78 percent of
companies that suffer a catastrophe without a contingency plan
are gone within 2 years
Even for small
companies that do some planning:
- 90 percent of
smaller companies (less than 100 employees) surveyed spend less
than one day per month preparing and maintaining their
continuity plans
- One in five (22
percent) spend no time maintaining their plans
- Comparatively, 20
percent of larger companies (more than 100 employees) spend over
10 days per month on their continuity plans
